Pachycereus Schottii f. Monstrosus, commonly known as the Totem Pole cactus, is a naturally mutated species of cactus. Totem Pole cacti are native to desert regions of north-western Mexico and the Baja California peninsula, but some species can also be found in southern Arizona. They are growing in colonies on rocky hillsides, alluvial plains, and along desert washes. It can withstand some frost but not a hard freeze.
