Fouquieria macdougalii
is one of the most showy of the Ocotillo family. It grows into a large
ball shaped shrub with hundreds of spiny stems growing from the base of
the trunk. The trunk get very thick and bright green with tan peeling
bark. When in flower it produces very large structures of tubular bright
red flowers. You are bidding on one plant size shown. Plant in
full sun, water regularly in the summer. Leaves may drop when stressed
or dormant. Be careful not to over water when it is trying to rest.
