Operating Instructions

Current owner's statement: These are excellent speakers, which accept the output from your preamp or DAC that have either RCA or XLR connections. The internal amplifiers are analog so there is no additional digital processing performed within the speakers. They are just plug and play. They can also be sourced by Elac's wireless Discovery Connect device, which can act as a Roon Endpoint or driven by a Bluetooth connection from your smart phone. The Discovery Connect box originally retailed for $500+, but we can be included if you select two speakers at the discounted asking price. We have the speakers currently set up in our living room with the connect box about 25 feet away in my office. The sound quality through the connect box is fantastic and the speakers can play very loud without distortion or strain. You are bidding on a single speaker, we have two available.
