Aloe ramosissima is a stunted highly branched version of the stout trunk Aloe dichotoma. It has freely offsetting branches with
plump succulent leaves and peeling bark. Mature rosette size is much smaller than
the actual A. dichotoma, topping out at 1.2 meters (4 feet) tall by several meters wide. Aloe ramosissima tends to go dormant in excessively hot weather. During this time keep water to a minimum. The succulent leaves are also highly sensitive to frost, so protect from any length of time below freezing temperatures. Plant in fast draining cactus mix, and water sparingly to grow a tightly compacted dwarf tree with fat trunk. You are bidding on the plant shown. These extra large specimens were very well grown from seed in the desert. Estimated age is 10-15 years. The leaf canopy and branching structure is more than 30 inches wide.
